But really, I think part of the reason I've been having so much trouble with this particular scene is because I'm not angry. Quite the opposite. I'm actually pretty friggin' happy. There's minor irritations in life, but on the whole things seem to be going pretty well.
I want to try to finish it off before I leave for Florida (woo!) so I've just spent the past 45 minutes listening to very loud, angry music in hopes of starting something in my head. We'll see how that goes. If not, I still have about a month before I go anywhere.

I Don't Take Kindly To Most Conspiracy Theories
I about beat the hell out of an old friend for trying to deny the Holocaust. And I'm not even Jewish.
It's a thing in my family to join the military. I, however, can't due to some lovely disorders. So I picked the next tradition on the list: Artist.
Today is Memorial Day. Today we think back on all of our soldiers, all of our friends, all of our family.
Today is also the day I walk around with a hammer to pound the face in of any idiot that tries to fuck with traditions.
It's also a thing in my family to be kind of aggressive and really proud.
